The Portuguese Anthology has its epicentre in the heart of the Poetry Group Asas de Poesia (Wings of Poetry) and in the individual and collective experience of the authors that appear in it.
As Poetry is an art, perhaps the poorest of all the arts, the Asas de Poesia Group decided, in order to celebrate its fifth anniversary and with the support of the Municipality of Maia, to publish this book thus giving the general public the opportunity to know poets with works published but unknown to the general public.
