Stefan Hertmans (1951), Flemish, is the author of novels, short stories, essays, and poetry. His work has received numerous awards, including the... Multatuli Awardthe F. Bordewijk Prize, and the AKO Literature PrizeYour novel War and Turpentine was nominated for the Man Booker International Prize In 2017, it sold 250,000 copies and was translated into thirty-four languages.
