Alexandre Miguel Mestre

É licenciado em Direito, contando com três Pós-Graduações - uma das quais em Estudos Olímpicos - e um Mestrado, estando em curso o seu Doutoramento. Foi Consultor Jurídico, Advogado e Docente Universitário. Foi membro do Conselho Diretivo da Academia Olímpica de Portugal. Tem diversos livros e artigos científicos publicados, alguns no domínio do Olimpismo. Exerce atualmente as funções de Secretário de Estado do Desporto e Juventude do XIX Governo Constitucional, ainda que a presente obra seja uma iniciativa estritamente pessoal.
