ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Erik Varden

Erik Varden (n. 1974) iniciou o seu caminho de fé aos 15 anos, após ouvir a Sinfonia n.º 2 (Ressurreição) de Mahler. Em 1993 converteu-se ao catolicismo e em 2002 ingressou na Ordem dos Cistercienses da Estrita Observância (Trapistas). Ensinou Teologia em Cambridge e em Roma. Nomeado bispo de Trondheim em 2019, é, desde 2024, presidente da Conferência Episcopal Nórdica.
