Peter Atkins
Peter Atkins is a Professor of Chemistry and a Member of Lincoln College at Oxford University. He is the author of several internationally renowned chemistry textbooks, thanks to his extraordinary gift for explaining facts—particularly complex concepts—in a memorable and remarkably clear way. This gift has been regularly used in his books for the general public, but never with the effect achieved in Galileo's Finger.
