José Manuel Barbosa Álvarez

É professor de primário e investigador e historiador por vocação. Sócio da Associaçom Galega da Língua, fundador da IGEC e académico da Academia Galega da Língua Portuguesa, faz parte do comité organizador das Jornadas galego portuguesas de Pitões das Júnias e é gestor do DTS despertadoteusono.blogspot.com. Além de articulista, palestrante, e divulgador é autor de livros: Curso prático de Galego (1999) e Bandeiras da Galiza (2006), ambos na Ed. AGAL/Através Ed.; Atlas Histórico da Galiza (2008), Edições da Galiza e dos poemários coletivos mago/Mágoa (2002), Baía. em parceria com Roi Brás, e Dezaoito (18), (2011) e Alén do siléncio (2014) ambos edição dos autores.
