Gerry Duggan é um escritor, realizador e fotógrafo americano a viver em Los Angeles, sendo um dos roteiristas mais admirados da atualidade. Tem trabalhado com muitos personagens da franquia mutante, como os X-Men coreanos, Dentes de Sabre, Wolverine, Conflyto, Cable e, em especial, Vampira, Deadpool… fez parte de uma equipa que escreveu os Film Independent Spirit Awards de 2014, organizados por Patton Oswalt, para os quais foi nomeado para um WGA Award. Também neste ano iniciou a franquia Avengers. Em 2016, coescreveu o Doctor Strange.
