It’s not often that a book makes me feel the way ‘the nightingale’. Hannah’s writing is spectacular in itself; however, it’s the characters and plot that drive the reader through a rollercoaster of emotions. While this book could have been a bit shorter, its ending is phenomenally done and is worth all the hours invested with these characters. Historical fiction has never looked better.
