SOBRE O AUTOR
Patrick Ness
Patrick Ness nasceu na Virginia em 1971. Publicou o seu primeiro conto na revista Género em 1997 e em 1999, enquanto trabalhava na sua primeira ficção, mudou-se para Londres. Ness foi professor de escrita criativa na Universidade de Oxford e escreveu para jornais como The Daily Telegraph, The Literary Supplement Times, The Sunday Telegraph e The Guardian. Como autor, a trilogia YA sci-fi «Chaos Walking», destaca-se como a sua obra mais importante. Esta série encontra-se traduzida em mais de 30 países, teve diversas nomeações internacionais e venceu vários prémios literários, dos quais se destacam o Guardian Children’s Fiction Award (livro 1), o Costa Children’s Book of the Year Award (livro 2) e a Carnegie Medal (livro 3).
