Loch Lomond & Cowal Way

The Loch Lomond & Cowal Way runs for 57 miles across the Cowal peninsula, just west of Glasgow and easily reached. The route starts on Loch Fyne and ends on Loch Lomond. The trail is well waymarked, with rugged terrain and glorious views over the Firth of Clyde. The area is rich in history and heritage, with red squirrel, red deer and golden eagle.
