In-Out - A Porta da Arquitectura | The Door of Architecture

Esta obra aborda o tema da porta na arquitectura, sobretudo no contexto contemporâneo, fazendo uma crítica à desvalorização da porta como elemento formal e significativo em alguma arquitectura contemporânea, mas também apresentando alguns exemplos que podemos considerar como paradigmáticos dessa abordagem. Este tema e esta abordagem específica do tema são inéditos.

A presente edição, bilingue (português e inglês), que contém algumas fotos de grande formato, é direcionada preferencialmente para arquitectos e estudantes das áreas artísticas, mas também para o público em geral, que poderá encontrar nela um interessante veículo didático e lúdico, nomeadamente através do álbum de fotos de portas que inclui.


This work addresses the theme of the door in architecture, especially in a contemporary context, criticizing the devaluation of the door as a formal and significant element in some contemporary architecture, but also presenting some examples that we can consider as paradigmatic of this approach. This theme and this specific approach to the theme are unprecedented.

This bilingual edition (portuguese and english), which contains a set of large format photos, is preferably aimed for architects, and students of artistic fields, but also for the general public, who will find there an interesting didactic and recreational vehicle, namely through an included photo album of doors.
