SOBRE O AUTOR

Kacen Callender

Kacen Callender nasceu em St. Thomas, nas Ilhas Virgens Americanas, no mar das Caraíbas. Escreve histórias de fantasia e ficção contemporânea para crianças e jovens adultos e já recebeu inúmeros prémios pela sua escrita, incluindo o National Book Award, o Lambda Literary Award e o Stonewall Book Award, pela obra Felix para Sempre. Kacen tem um mestrado em Belas-Artes pelo programa de escrita criativa para jovens da New School, em Nova Iorque. Adora praticar a sua arte e concentrar-se na cura e crescimento no seu tempo livre. Atualmente, reside em Los Angeles, na Califórnia. Callender é negre, queer, transgénero e usa os pronomes elu/delu e ele/dele.
