Este livro mostra os diferentes verões, consegue-se ver o crescimento das personagens. Acima de tudo o que amei neste livro foi a amizade da Lucy com a a sua melhor amiga Bridget. Oh this book hit me in the feels. A few tears might’ve been shed. Like other Carley Fortune books there is a perfect balance of summer vibes, nostalgia, romance, tension, grief and self-reflection. Lucy and Felix were absolutely electrifying! They had instant chemistry. There was an element of forbidden romance, which made it even hotter. But I wish we could’ve gotten more scenes of them having deep conversations and connecting on that level. But the aspect of this book that touched me the most was Lucy and Bridget’s friendship. I think it was almost as important as Lucy and Felix’s relationship. I loved the fact that they met in their twenties and became best friends and roommates. A true friendship, sisterhood that’s unconditional. I love them so so much!!

Não tenho palavras para descrever tudo o que este livro me fez sentir! Ri, sorri, fiquei frustrada e emocionada vezes e vezes sem conta a cada capítulo. Esta história é muito mais que um romance, é um hino à amizade e ao amor próprio, ensinando-nos que o "felizes para sempre" só é possível se aprendermos a sermos felizes na companhia e não na dependência. Mais um livro excelente da autora! This Summer Will Be Different é sem dúvida uma leitura que vale a pena, posso dizer que superou as minhas expectativas. A química entre Felix e Lucy é incrível, e senti que o romance entre os dois era muito realista. É o livro ideal para quem procura um bom livro de romance com uma escrita cativante.

Carley Fortune é autora e reconhecida jornalista natural de Toronto. Quando era criança, viveu em Sydney, na Austrália, e em Barry’s Bay, uma pequena localidade na zona rural de Ontário que serviu de cenário a Cada Verão Passado, o seu primeiro romance, que imediatamente se transformou num sucesso de vendas.
