Lisa Mosconi é professora de Neurologia e diretora da Clínica de Prevenção de Alzheimer no Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Faz também parte do corpo docente do Departamento de Psiquiatria da Escola de Medicina e do Departamento de Nutrição da Escola de Nutrição e Saúde Pública na Universidade de Nova Iorque, e dos Departamentos de Neurologia e Medicina Nuclear na Universidade de Florença.
