Pablo Alonso González é MPhil e PhD em Heritage Studies pela Divisão de Arqueologia da Universidade de Cambridge e doutor em História pela Universidade de León. Atualmente é cientista sénior em Antropologia do IPNA-CSIC (La Laguna, Tenerife, Espanha). A sua pesquisa inclui a antropologia do património cultural em Espanha e na América, especialmente em Cuba.
