A Danish-Dutch-Ukrainian survey on Lake Dzarylgac’s hinterland reshapes our understanding of regional settlement. Spanning from prehistory to early modern times, the study uncovers untouched Greek and indigenous sites and a settlement peak during the Late Classical and Early Hellenistic periods.
