Sean Carroll

Sean Carroll é um físico norte-americano que trabalha no California Institute of Technology (Caltech), a escola onde Feynman ensinou. Cosmólogo, especializou-se em relatividade geral e energia escura. Tem presença assídua na televisão, rádio, imprensa e blogosfera. É o autor de outro livro de divulgação científica de grande êxito: From Eternity to Here (2010), sobre o enigma da «seta do tempo». Carroll doutorou-se em 1993 na Universidade de Harvard e trabalhou depois no MIT, na Universidade da Califórnia (Santa Barbara) e na Universidade de Chicago.
