Still Born is the story of two friends who make diametrically opposite choices in life.

Alina and Laura are independent and career-driven women in their mid-thirties, neither of whom have ever built their future around the prospect of a family.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Guadalupe Nettel

Guadalupe Nettel, nasceu na Cidade do México, em 1973, estudou Línguas e Literaturas Hispânicas e, em 2008, concluiu um doutoramento em Ciências da Linguagem na EHECS de Paris. É membro do Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte mexicano, autora de três livros de contos e do romance El huésped, finalista do Prémio Herralde, em 2005. Foi traduzida em francês, holandês, alemão, inglês, checo, esloveno e sueco. Os seus livros obtiveram vários prémios como o Antonin Artaud e o Anna Seghers.
