Ed Brubaker has won Eisner and Harvey awards for Best Writer six times since 2006.
His collaborative work with Sean Phillips on the series Sleeper, Criminal, Incognito, and Fatale has been translated worldwide to great critical and commercial success.
His most recent comic book, The Fadeout, also featuring Sean Phillips, won the Eisner Awards for Best New Series (2015) and Best Limited Series (2016).
But in addition to his many independent series, Brubaker has written some of Marvel's biggest sagas, such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier (which spawned the film of the same name), or the magnificent Iron Fist series.
He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and dog, and works in comics, film, and television, notably as a writer and producer on the series Westworld.
