Richard Corben (1940-2020) foi um autor norte-americano de banda desenhada mais conhecido pelos seus trabalhos de fantasia e terror, principalmente publicados na revista Heavy Metal. Mas o seu trabalho foi muito transversal no mercado americano, tendo também colaborado com editoras mainstream como a Marvel, a DC e a Dark Horse. Passou por vários outros populares títulos de terror, como Creepy, Eerie e Vampirella. Colaborou também na reputada revista francesa Metal Hurlant.
Foi vencedor do Spectrum Grand Master Award e do Grand Prix 2018 em Angoulême. Em 2012, foi eleito para o Hall da Fama do Prémio Will Eisner.
