A narrativa alterna entre a perspetiva de Claire e de uma figura anónima, cuja identidade é revelada gradualmente, criando um ambiente de mistério e tensão. A autora constrói uma atmosfera claustrofóbica e intrigante, onde segredos sombrios vêm à tona à medida que os personagens se encontram isolados numa situação perigosa. Os capítulos são curtos e com reviravoltas inesperadas, o livro é ideal para pessoas que procuram histórias rápidas e cheias de suspense.

Nunca tendo lido nenhum livro da autora, fiquei bastante agradada com o que li neste livro. Tendo uma premissa que pode não ser das mais originais, a autora consegui trabalhá-la muito bem, deixando os leitores a questionarem se realmente estão a suspeitar do personagem certo. Contudo, o plot twist final pareceu um pouco forçado, podendo mesmo considerar-se que foi apresentado de forma descuidada. No entanto, considero que, apesar deste ponto menos positivo, o livro, no geral, é satisfatório, proporcionando ao leitor uma leitura agradável e leve.
