Janina Ramirez

Janina Ramirez is a lecturer, speaker, and researcher specializing in the interpretation of symbolism and the analysis of works of art within their historical context. She is the director of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Art History at the Department of Continuing Education, University of Oxford. She has published extensively on medieval art and literature and has taught and researched across a wide chronological range, from ancient sculptures to postmodern architecture. She has also written and presented a series of documentaries for [publication name - missing from original text]. BBC4 and the Radio Four, and is a regular guest presenter on the program.
