Foi um bom livro, com personagens muito bons, mas tenho de avisar que se não gostam de capítulos longos este livro tem muitos assim, eu não gosto disso e confesso que foi um ponto negativo do livro na minha opinião, mas tirando isso eu gostei da história e dos personagens que são melhores que o primeiro livro. É dark romance e não acho que se deva começar por estes livros pois apesar de não serem tão pesados como alguns que conhecemos tem coisas que para um iniciante pode ser chocante se não estiver preparado para tudo.

Depois do primeiro, as minhas expectativas para o segundo livro estavam bastante elevadas. Achei que o vilão foi bastante previsível e, que no aspeto do humor ficou um pouquinho aquém. Tirando isso, a autora entregou um bom dark romance.

O casamento de conveniência será sempre um tropo superior para mim, Quotes como esta, “quer os nossos votos tenham sido reais ou não, quer ela acredite neles ou não, quer use o seu nome ou o meu, ela lembrou-me habilmente a verdade suprema: para melhor ou pior, estamos costurados.” fizeram este livro para mim e eu VIVI para isto! "butcher and blackbird" é definitivamente muito superior a este livro, mas não o detestei. não sou nada senão uma rapariga entretida por assassinos apaixonados, vivo para isto!

Senti que este livro foi um pouco mais fraco em relação ao primeiro e não trouxe nada de novo. No entanto, houve momento giros na relação entre as personagens principais, embora houvesse bastante falta de comunicação, o que era por vezes irritante.

this book had all the iconic vibes from butcher & blackbird – but the plot was so much better and I´m obsessed! And I loved that we also get a mystery to solve. These books are so wrong but so right … so fast paced and unique! so fun and bingeable! To be honest, I didn´t have high hopes for this one because I didn´t love butcher & blackbird like everyone else did, but if we´re ranking Leather and Lark is #1 in this trilogy for me, so far.

Apesar de ter gostado bastante deste livro acho que o final merecia um pouco mais. O sentido de humor e a forma como as personagens do Locklan e da Lark crescem ao longo da história, são sem dúvida o ponto forte do livro. Super na expetativa para ver o que vai acontecer com a Rose e com o Fionn :)
