Gwen Cooper é autora do romance Diary of a South Beach Party Girl, um sucesso da crítica nos EUA. Oriunda de Miami, trabalhou durante cinco anos para diversas ONGs, ocupando cargos de marketing, administração e angariação de fundos para instituições de solidariedade social dedicadas a ajudar crianças e mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica e famílias com dificuldades financeiras.
