Havana Year Zero

Karla Suárez (Havana, 1969) published the novels in Portugal. She is also the author of short story collections and travel books. Her books are published in several languages. In 2007, she was selected among the 39 most important authors of new Latin American literature. After Rome and Paris, she currently resides in Lisbon, where she coordinates the reading club at the Cervantes Institute in Lisbon, and is also a professor of Creative Writing at the Escuela de Escritores in Madrid.
