I enjoyed the gothic vibes. However, the mystery aspect was not as strong this time, which was something that I loved about the first book. This one focused more on the characters' backstories, and it was well done, I couldn't guess everything so I loved the twist. On the other hand, I felt like this book took a completely different approach from the first one, feels more like a bridge that will connect the first book and the third one instead of a continuation of the series

Foxglove is as amazing as Belladonna was! I love the games played by Fate, the unfolding of a murder investigation once again, this time by Signa and Blythe, the way Blythe is too clever for her own good! I cannot for the life of me wait for Wisteria! I loved the way Blythe shone on this one and is, in my opinion, posed to shine even more in Wisteria!
