Jonathan Safran Foer

Jonathan Safran Foer nasceu em Washington em 1977. Autor dos romances Everything is Illuminated e de Extremamente Alto e Incrivelmente Perto (este último adaptado ao grande ecrã por Stephen Daldry em 2012) e do ensaio Comer Animais, Safran Foer foi nomeado pela revista Granta como um dos melhores jovens romancistas norte-americanos e considerado uma das «personalidades do ano» pela revista Rolling Stone. Traduzido para trinta e seis línguas, foi distinguido ao longo dos últimos anos com variados prémios literários, entre os quais o Zoetrope: All-Story Fiction Prize, o New York Public Library's Young Lions Fiction Award, o Guardian First Book Prize e o National Jewish Book Award. Vive atualmente em Nova Iorque. Em 2017 lançou Aqui Estou, o seu muito aguardo terceiro romance. Além de ter sido nomeado para o Prémio Dylan Thomas e um sucesso da crítica, entrou diretamente para a lista de mais vendidos do New York Times. Foi publicado pela Alfaguara em Portugal.
