ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Fausto de Quadros

Retired Full Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where he taught, among other subjects, Administrative Law, International Law and European Union Law.
He holds a European Chair. Jean Monnet ad personam in European Constitutional Law, awarded by the European Commission.
Despite his retirement, he continues to teach at that Faculty and other Portuguese and foreign universities, especially at the postgraduate level, and to supervise research projects. Among his many works in the aforementioned branches of Law, the following stand out: "Manual of Public International Law", co-authored with André Gonçalves Pereira, the manual of "European Union Law" and the monograph "The protection of private property by Public International Law".
He is also a legal consultant, lawyer, and national and international arbitrator.
