ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stephanie Land

Born in 1989, Stephanie Land grew up in Port Townsend, Washington, and Anchorage, Alaska, in the United States. From a middle-class family, Land's life was turned upside down in her twenties by an unwanted pregnancy and pressing needs she had never experienced before, forcing her to work as a domestic worker to care for her daughter with daunting limitations. Despite this, thanks to student aid and scholarships, she managed to graduate with a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Montana and begin working as... freelancer for publications Huffpost and Vox — it was the quality of his writing that prompted the invitation to publish, in 2019, CreatedToday, Stephanie Land is married and has four children.
