Salla Simukka

Salla Simukka é finlandesa e nasceu em 1981. Tem traduzido e escrito ficção para adolescentes e jovens adultos. Escreveu vários romances e uma coleção de contos. Traduziu também ficção para adultos, livros infantis e peças de teatro. Faz regularmente crítica literária para dois jornais diários e um semanário finlandeses, participando ainda no quadro editorial da publicação juvenil Lukufiilis.
Em janeiro de 2013 Salla Simukka recebeu o Prémio Topelius pelas obras Without a Trace e Elsewhere. Criado em 1946, este prémio destina-se a distinguir as melhores obras de ficção infantil e juvenil na Finlândia.
