Niall Williams

Niall Williams nasceu em Dublin em 1958. Estudou inglês e Literatura Francesa na sua terra natal. Esteve cinco anos nos Estados Unidos onde fez um mestrado em Literatura Americana; trabalhou na cadeia de livrarias Fox and Sutherland’s, Mount Kisko, abrindo caixas de livros e arrumando-os. Mais tarde, foi editor da Avon Books. Nos Estados Unidos conheceu a sua mulher e posteriormente mudaram-se para Clare, para uma antiga casa de família; Niall Williams estava determinado a ser escritor. Escreveu várias peças de teatro levadas já à cena na Irlanda e este é o seu quarto romance. Os seus livros têm enorme êxito e estão publicados em inúmeros países.
