Fred Vargas

Fred Vargas, pseudonym of Frédérique Audouin-Rouzeau, was born in Paris in 1957. He studied History and Archaeology and has published several crime novels that have been translated into thirty-five languages.
She is unanimously recognized as the French queen of polar literature, and her books have been awarded numerous prizes, including the Prix ​​Mystère de la Critique (1996 and 2000), the Grand Prize for Black Novel at the Cognac Festival (1999), the Trofeo 813the Giallo Grinzane (2006) and the CWA International Dagger (2006, 2007 and 2009).
