ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Keith Ward

Foi recentemente nomeado membro da Academia Britânica. Em 2004 (ano em que se reformou) era Professor Regius da cadeira de Divindade e Director da Faculdade de Teologia da Universidade de Oxford. É sacerdote da Igreja de Inglaterra e Cânone da Igreja de Cristo, Oxford.
De 1992 a 2001 foi presidente do World Congress of Faiths (WCF). Actualmente é Professor de Divindade no Gresham College, Londres. O seu trabalho centra-se na interface entre a filosofia e a religião, a relação entre ciência e religião (que, como defensor da evolução teísta, encara como essencialmente compatíveis), e o diálogo entre as tradições religiosas.
