Alain de Botton

Alain de Botton nasceu em Zurique, na Suíça, em 1969, e vive atualmente em Londres. É escritor de livros de "filosofia da vida quotidiana". O primeiro, Ensaios de Amor, foi publicado quando tinha 23 anos. Desde então, escreveu sobre viagens, arquitetura, literatura e religião. Os seus livros são best sellers internacionais, estando publicados em mais de 30 países.
De Botton fundou e dirige uma escola em Londres, The School of Life, dedicada a ajudar as pessoas a aprenderem, recuperarem e desenvolverem-se.
