Heroes' Path eBook

After the events of The World of Heroes Trilogy, with the heroes'' revealed to humanity and beyond, the villains have surfaced. Meanwhile, several heroes have their own circumstances to confront as the days become complicated for their calling.

The Swordman must deal with the rise of Harold Hunt, a man seeking to clean up Retropolis. The Nano Man confronts a competitor spreading the notion of ridding away nanotechnology in favor of biotech. Commander Norland leads his team to the arctic to find the remaining ADDER bases while several new threats arise in their place, and The Beast, who''s traveled to the Amazon Rain-forest to stop the military from awakening a hidden monster.

Yet, throughout all of this, Taltus senses something coming. A premonition in his last encounter with the Blacholian forces and their leader, Oranos. Taltus knows his invasion is nigh and he must warn the others while attending to his own current affairs concerning four unknown beings with abilities.

Elsewhere, The Voltage, Bionic Rage, John Terror, and others continue their heroic acts in their own destinations. Yet in the shadows, a secretive operation is at work and it will summon the one called Devil-Knight to investigate. Bringing together many of the Scattered heroes in the attempt at defeating the shadow force striking each of the heroes in their own sadistic way.

In the outer regions of heroes, Travis Vail, Gabriel Abraham, Creed, Death Chaser, Cinderella, and their occult allies come face-to-face with one of their most powerful adversaries. Through their own individual journeys, they are brought together once again as the looming darkness makes its presence known. All the while, Doctor Fortune is caught in a warp across dimensions as the return of a certain Conqueror makes his own workings complicated, leading to a unification between allies and enemies in a battle of Spiritual Godfare.

Incursions of two hidden forces cause a stir of strife between the Resistance and the Protectors, leading to a war between the heroes. Shadow organizations plotting destruction and supernatural forces of evil come together to thwart the efforts of the benevolent faction of occult detectives and monsters.

With all these events taking place, little do they know how closer Oranos is approaching and the world may yet fall into his hands.
