Cidinha da Silva

Cidinha da Silva is from Minas Gerais and has already published 20 books, including award-winning ones. An Exu in New York (National Library Award, 2019) The nine combs of Africa (selected for the PNLD Literary Program 2020) Stop killing us! (Public Archive of São Paulo Education, 2021) Oh, riverbank! Reinvent the rivers! (PNLD Literário 2021 and the My Library program of the City of São Paulo) and The Sea of ​​Manu (APCA 2021, Best Children's Book).
He also organized two fundamental works for thinking about contemporary race relations in Brazil: Affirmative action in education: Brazilian experiences (2003) and Africanities and race relations: inputs for public policies in the area of ​​books, reading, literature and libraries in Brazil. (2014).
She has publications in German, Catalan, Spanish, French, English, and Italian, and is beginning collaborations in audiovisual media. She is the curator of the Almanac. Exuzilhar (YouTube), advisor to Casa Sueli Carneiro and PhD in Knowledge Dissemination.
