ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Gilles Clément

Gilles Clément (Argenton-sur-Creuse, 1943) Jardineiro francês, paisagista, botânico e ensaísta, é professor da Escola de Paisagismo de Versalhes desde 1980 e é arquiteto de vários parques e espaços públicos, como os jardins Le Domaine du Rayol (Var), o parque Matisse (Lille), os jardins do Musée du Quai Branly (Paris) e o parque André Citroën (Paris).
Escreveu vários livros relacionados com paisagismo, além de romances, ensaios e outras publicações em colaboração com artistas, e publicou o tratado fundamental sobre o paisagismo contemporâneo The Garden in Motion (2012) e Terceiro Manifesto da Paisagem (2018), ambos publicados pela editora Gustavo Gili.
