Licenciado em Engenharia Informática e de Computadores pelo Instituto Superior Técnico. Responsável pelo grupo de bases de dados da experiência Hera-b no parque científico de DESY em Hamburgo. Colaborador de investigação para a experiência ATLAS no CERN em Genebra, no Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas e no Centro de Física Nuclear da Universidade de Lisboa. Tem em curso um programa de doutoramento com o grupo de base de dados da Universidade de Mannheim.
