Teun Berserik, nasceu no seio de uma família de artistas nos Países Baixos, Teun Berserik demorou algum tempo a enveredar pelo mundo artístico. Com efeito, foi só depois de ter gerido durante doze anos uma oficina especializada em carros anteriores a 1940 que a musa do desenho lhe bateu por fim à porta. Em resultado disso, para além de ilustrações para manuais escolares de várias disciplinas (biologia, história…), bem como alguns trabalhos de publicidade e desenhos animados, Teun Berserik executa atualmente bandas desenhadas (por vezes didáticas) para crianças, adolescentes e adultos.
