Sócio fundador da CRA Timor. Licenciado em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (1992). Árbi tro oficial do Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) desde 2004 e juiz do International Court of Appeal da FIA – Fédérati on Internationale de l’Automobile (2010). Master Honoris Causa pelo Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economia (ISDE) de Madrid e professor convidado no Master in International Sports Law do ISDE (2007 a 2016). Membro e diretor da Associação Internacional de Direito do Desporto RexSport. Orador em diversos seminários internacionais e nacionais sobre matérias relacionadas com a arbitragem no desporto, autor de diversos artigos sobre arbitragem e mediação e coautor do livro Sports Law in Portugal.
