Nasceu em 1976 e é jornalista há mais de 15 anos. Escreve na Notícias Magazine e ensina jornalismo na Universidade Lusófona, em Lisboa. Esteve na equipa fundadora da revista Focus e colabora com vários jornais e revistas, dentro e fora de Portugal. Entrevistou o Dalai Lama e o líder de um gangue de traficantes de armas, o presidente do Brasil e o coveiro de um cemitério iraquiano. As suas histórias são normalmente sobre direitos humanos, minorias e tudo o que cheira a contracultura – e já foram reconhecidas com prémios de jornalismo da União Europeia e da Unesco, entre outros. Estudou no Committee of Concerned Journalists, em Washington DC, e na Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Malditos é o seu terceiro livro de reportagem.
