Penny Vincenzi (10 abril de 1939 – 25 fevereiro de 2018) foi uma das escritoras britânicas com mais sucesso. Foi jornalista, colaborando em publicações como The Daily Mirror, The Times, Vogue e Cosmopolitan, entre outras, antes de iniciar uma carreira literária de sucesso - os seus livros já venderam em todo o mundo mais de sete milhões de exemplares.
O seu primeiro romance, Old Sins, foi publicado em 1989, tendo escrito depois muitos outros, dos quais se destacam Cruel Abandono, O Jogo do Acaso, Uma Mulher Diferente e Promessas Desfeitas, já publicados pela Porto Editora.
