Paula Veloso, licenciada pela FCNAUP, exerce a sua atividade como nutricionista desde 1991. Tem participado em diversos programas de televisão e rádio e colaborado com inúmeras revistas e jornais no âmbito da alimentação/nutrição. Sobre o tema, publicou dois livros, Dietas sem dieta, bestseller em Portugal, e Dieta sem castigo, nomeado na categoria "Melhor livro de cozinha para crianças e família" pelo World Cookbook Awards, concurso internacional promovido pela Gourmand International e destinado a premiar os melhores livros de cozinha e de vinhos do mundo.
