Patricia Vickers-Rich
Paleontologist and ornithologist with dozens of published books, especially on paleontology, and winner of several literary awards, including the Eureka Prize in 1993 and 2000. Professor at Monash University in Melbourne, where she has worked since 1976. She was Vice-President and President of the Australian Association of Paleontologists between 1992 and 1998. She is the director of the Science Centre at Monash University and a research associate at the Victoria Museum. She has also worked in several museums and her work is recognized for its important studies on prehistoric animals, such as dinosaurs, fossils, and extinct species.
