Milton Nascimento
Milton Nascimento, born in 1942 in Rio de Janeiro and raised in Minas Gerais, is one of the greatest names in Brazilian music and one of the most recognizable voices in the world. A singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, he has built a body of work marked by the fusion of popular music, jazz, progressive rock, and regional Brazilian sounds, becoming an icon of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and universal songwriter music.
Her career began to gain prominence in the late 1960s, when her composition "Travessia" was performed at the 1967 International Song Festival, winning over the public and paving the way for her first album.
