Doutorada em Economia pela Universidade de Aveiro. Investigadora na Unidade de Investigação em Governança, Competitividade e Políticas Públicas (GOVCOPP). Professora Auxiliar no Departamento de Economia, Gestão, Engenharia Industrial e Turismo (DEGEIT) nas áreas da Economia e Finanças. É coautora de vários artigos científicos em jornais de referência, livros e artigos de atas de conferências na área das finanças, economia da energia e economia. Vice-diretora do Mestrado em Economia da Universidade de Aveiro. Membro da Ordem dos Economistas, da IAEE (International Association of Economists of Energy), sócia fundadora e tesoureira da APEEN (Associação Portuguesa de Economia da Energia).
