Licenciada em Direito e com pós-graduação em Direito da Comunicação, é grande repórter no Público, onde tem como função principal a cobertura da Presidência da República praticamente desde o início do mandato de Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. Foi editora das secções de Política (2009-2016) e de Sociedade (2003-2006) e repórter parlamentar entre 2006 e 2009. É presidente da Comissão da Carteira Profissional de Jornalista no triénio 2019-2021.
