Klaus-Heinrich Röhm

Nasceu em Stuttgart, Alemanha, e concluiu o ensino secundário no seminário evangélico-teológico de Urach, igualmente um local de formação humanística. Depois de se interessar pela física, graduou-se em Bioquímica pela Universidade de Tübingen. Desde 1970, Prof. Röhm trabalha na área da medicina em Marburg. Fez o seu doutoramento sob orientação do Prof. Friedhelm Schneider e concluiu sua livre-docência em 1980, em Química. Em 1986, tornou-se professor universitário. O seu grupo de trabalho ocupa-se da estrutura e função de enzimas do metabolismo de aminoácidos. É casado com uma bióloga e tem dois filhos
