José Manuel Lucía Megías

José Manuel Lucía Megías (Ibiza, 1967), professor da Universidade Complutense de Madrid e poeta, é considerado um dos mais importantes e influentes estudiosos de Cervantes – e autor da monumental biografia de Cervantes em três volumes (publicada entre 2016 e 2019). Foi presidente da Associação de Cervantistas, responsável pela coordenação académica do Centro de Estudos Cervantinos e de várias exposições de temática cervantina na Biblioteca Nacional de Espanha, no Instituto Cervantes, no Museu Casa Natal de Cervantes, no Museu Dom Quixote de Ciudad Real, na Universidade de Alcalá de Henares e na Universidade Complutense de Madrid. É diretor da Rede de Cidades Cervantes, fundada em 2017. Recebeu ainda a Comenda de Afonso X, o Sábio, pelo seu trabalho de estudo e divulgação da vida e obra de Cervantes.
