José João Abrantes

José João Abrantes holds a doctorate in Law from the University of Bremen and a habilitation in Private Law from the Nova University of Lisbon, where he is a Full Professor and currently also Pro-Rector.
He holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon, where he taught for over fifteen years.
She is a member of numerous legal associations and scientific networks, most notably the European Labour Law Network, a network of labor law experts from over thirty European countries, where she has served as an advisor to the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the European Commission since 2007, and also APODIT - the Portuguese Association of Labour Law, where she is Vice-President.
He has given a considerable number of lectures and has a vast body of published work, both in Portugal and abroad, covering topics from various branches of law, with particular emphasis on Labor Law.
